Jardini Arowana

Native to the rivers of Papua New Guinea and Indonesia, the Jardini Arowana is known for its muscular build, dark blue-green body, and striking black lateral stripes. Unlike the flashy Arowanas, it carries a wild, untamed beauty — perfect for aquarists who appreciate natural elegance over gaudy color. It’s one of the most adaptable Arowanas, tolerating a wider range of water conditions (pH 6.0–7.8), making it ideal for experienced hobbyists with large, planted tanks. Requires a 200+ gallon system with a secure lid — these fish are strong jumpers. We breed ours in spacious, naturalistic ponds to encourage full fin development and natural behavior.
